Leona’s is a legend in Chicago pizza history. Founded in 1950 in Lakeview at Belmont and Sheffield, the restaurant quickly became one of the most respected brands in the city. Over the years, Leona’s has pioneered innovations that shaped the industry, always staying true to the original traditions that made us legendary.
Pioneers of Pizza & Delivery
Leona’s led the way with industry firsts: buying delivery cars in 1952, placing restaurant signs on cars, and offering extended home delivery with up to 250 drivers from the original location. These innovations helped shape the dining experience for generations and cemented Leona’s place in Chicago’s restaurant history.
